Funeral for Chris Edward Kramer, 20, of 2225 Crown who was killed in a drilling accident Wednesday will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Elliott-Hamil Chapel of Faith, Highway 277.

The Rev. Riley Fugitt, pastor of the Clyde First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Kramer was killed when a hole-drilling machine he was operating became entangled in power lines near Caps, said Capt. Gary Lightfoot of the Taylor County Sheriff's Office.

He was pronounced dead at Hendrick Memorial hospital at 4 p.m. by Justice of the Peace Roland Dunwody.

Born Aug. 21, 1956, in Abilene, he married Paula Zimmerlee Sept. 11, 1976, in Lawn. He was graduated from Clyde High School in 1975 and had been employed by his father since that time. He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Clyde.
